Hamptons is intrinsically involved in the future use and development of the St George Leagues Club.

The first stage of works has involved renovation of the existing gaming facilities, for which development consent was required. This project evolves over three stages, The gaming room has been extended to extensively increase the outdoor gaming area, while reducing the internal areas, to satisfy marked demand, as well as undertaking a significant upgrade to existing building services.

The second stage of the project involves extensive renovation of the Club’s existing food and beverage offering, which includes a new alfresco dining area, along the western side of the existing building, opening this to the elements and increasing the opportunity for indoor-outdoor dining spaces. It will also see a new sports bar created on the eastern side of the building.

On the first floor will be a new-look Chinese restaurant, maintaining its grass-roots approach to serving the community, which has been a longstanding offering, while also renovating the existing auditorium for corporate and special events. Meeting rooms are also proposed to assist with creating opportunities for local businesses to use this space, of which there is a significant shortfall in the community.
