Bonnyrigg Plaza - Consulting Advice + DA
Client: The Makris Group of Companies.
Location: Bonnyrigg NSW (Fairfield City Council).
Hamptons has been retained for a number of years to provide strategic planning advice, as well as management of a number of development applications, in relation to Bonnyrigg Plaza shopping centre. This has included the lodgement of the major development applications for the redevelopment of the Plaza for over 9,700m2 of additional retail floor space, which was approved in June of 2010.
The key issues associated with the site included integration with neighbouring land uses including the childcare, public school, public housing and Transitway facilities; ensuring existing tenancy obligations were satisfied and maintaining a strong urban design and architectural outcome presenting to the public domain. Also essential has been to ensure that the shopping centre forms an integral part of the extended community, strengthening the town centre and promoting desirable social, economic and environmental outcomes.
Harvey Norman Penrith – Strategic Advice + DA
Client: Calardu (Penrith) Pty Ltd
Location: Penrith NSW (Penrith City Council).
Hamptons is currently retained by Harvey Norman for an array of tenancy development applications, as part of their expansion with the At Home Penrith Centre. The tenancy applications, in conjunction with an array of recently approved external works to the car parking area and façade treatments, as well as site signage, will see a rejuvenation to this bulky goods retailing precinct in what is currently vacant spaces.
The tenancy applications are anticipated to be approved by Penrith City Council in April 2011.
