Ardent Leisure Group - DA

Client: Ardent Leisure Group.

Location: Various Locations in NSW & VIC.

Hamptons is retained by the Ardent Leisure Group, who is the trustee of d'Albora Marinas. Operating seven sites across New South Wales and Victoria, our involvement from a town planning perspective in these projects, sees an array of tasks, from high level strategic advice on potential future development opportunities associated with the existing facilities; Part 3Aprojects for redevelopment purposes, and Review of Environmental Factors for refurbishment of existing facilities.

The location of such facilities requires extensive negotiations in terms of government authorities to ensure that the outcomes achieved are environmentally sustainable and will result in sound land and water management practices that are conducive to the context in which these facilities operate, whether it be in residential or recreational contexts.

Sydney Heritage Fleet - DA

Client: Sydney Maritime Museum Ltd.

Location: Bank Street, Pyrmont NSW (NSW Maritime Land).

Hamptons is also currently preparing at Part 3A application for the relocation of the Sydney Heritage Fleet from their existing facility at Rozelle, to Bank Street, Pyrmont. The purpose of this relocation is to enable the use of this site for public recreational purposes and provide substantial opportunities to raise the profile of the Fleet as a public asset within the marine context.

The proposal will see added benefits to the public, with improved public access and waterways, while also enhancing existing uses, such as the Dragon Boat Facility. It will also enable museum space to be provided and service a substantial public benefit to the local community.
